MISSOULA – Our community has many families who can’t afford to put a turkey on the table this Thanksgiving. Sadly, every community, including our own, has many families greatest in need. More than 12 percent of households in Montana receive food stamps and Montana food stamps costs the federal government about $12 million a month. 

Bellamah Vein Center is a family-run medical center located in Missoula which wants to help. The Center’s 2nd Annual Thanksgiving Charitable Giveaway of 100 Turkeys for 100 Families is a terrific way to give back.

“2021 continues to be a major hardship on many families in the greater Missoula community still suffering during the pandemic, including many experiencing job lose, depression and loneliness,” said Dr. David Bellamah, owner and medical director at Bellamah Vein Center. “A turkey during Thanksgiving feeds the bellies and warms the hearts of many in a family, said Dr. Bellamah. “It is our way of giving back to 100 families greatest in need once again this Thanksgiving season,” continued Bellamah.

For the second year in a row, turkeys will be handled out to families greatest in need beginning 10 am till 2 pm MT on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 nearby Bellamah Vein Center located at 2975 Stockyard Road Missoula, Montana 59808.
